Cleaning: full IN and OUT obligation
- Since 1 September 2024, people covered by the cleaning rules must register the start and end of their activities and their rest breaks. The rules cover certain cleaning of immovable property for third parties, subject to the applicable declaration and threshold conditions. Company size or joint committee alone does not determine whether the obligation applies.
Construction: registration above the threshold, IN and OUT are being added
- According to the NSSO, the extension of IN and OUT registration takes effect on 1 April 2027. It covers works on immovable property, excluding cleaning, and the supply of ready-mixed concrete at workplaces where the total value of the works is at least €500,000 excluding VAT. Check the conditions for each site.
Deadlines and follow-up
- Every registration must reach the NSSO within the legal deadline, signed with your own company's certificate.
- The NSSO responds with an acceptance or a rejection with an error code. That response determines whether your file is in order.
- Anyone who does not follow up on the responses will only notice a missing registration during an inspection.
