Who is CIAO Assist for?

CIAO Assist is meant for employers in cleaning and construction who already register through Check In and Out at Work. Whether your staff use the official NSSO app with a QR code or commercial software does not matter: CIAO Assist looks at the result of those registrations, not at how they were made.

Companies working with many employees, subcontractors or works-declaration contracts benefit most from a single clear overview. The more registrations, the greater the chance that an error code goes unnoticed.

Why is a sent registration not always in order?

A registration that has been sent is not automatically accepted. The NSSO checks every registration afterwards. Common messages include a missing link between employee and company, a missing works declaration or an employer marked inactive in the register. Without follow-up, such messages stay invisible until an inspection.

CIAO Assist and the extension in construction

According to the NSSO (notice of 30 July 2026), construction companies must register not only arrival but also departure from 1 April 2027 on works from € 500,000 excluding VAT. More registrations mean more checks, and therefore more possible error codes. A clear overview helps you resolve them in time.
