Registering with a smartphone on site: how to go about it

For many construction companies, the smartphone is the simplest way to let everyone register themselves.

What do your workers need?

  • A smartphone with the app and an internet connection at the moment of registering.
  • A simple sign-in that works with gloves and outdoors.
  • Explanations in their own language.

Location and privacy

Registration must happen on the site itself. An app can read the location at the moment of checking in or out. Agree clearly and communicate that location is not followed outside that moment.

Inform your workers in advance about which data is processed and why.

Frequently asked questions

May a worker use their own smartphone?
That is possible, subject to agreements with the worker. A company device or a registration device on site are alternatives.
Is the worker then tracked?
That depends on the app. Choose an app that only reads the location at the moment of checking in or out.
What if there is no coverage on site?
Discuss this with your supplier and test it in advance on the site itself.

Book a demo

See check-in and check-out live in a demo.

In a short session we walk through the three steps of the process: checking in and out with one tap in the app, the declaration within the deadline and the follow-up until the response. We then show the portal for managers: planning, registrations per team, reports and audit trail. For cleaning, construction or both — you choose where we put the emphasis.
