NSSO app or commercial software: what fits your sites?

For presence registration on site, you are not obliged to buy software. The NSSO offers a free application. Commercial software is an alternative.

The free NSSO application

  • Free and provided directly by the government.
  • Suitable for doing the mandatory registration.
  • You organise yourself how your people use it and how you keep an overview.

Commercial software

External software is allowed if it registers through the NSSO REST web service; the employer or software supplier sets up that link with a certificate and a web service account. Legal responsibility stays with the parties concerned. Commercial software costs money, but can offer extras such as an overview per site and worker, reports, or follow-up of NSSO responses. Features differ per supplier.

Commercial software is not legally required. Only choose it if its extras save your company time or risk.

Frequently asked questions

Is the NSSO application free?
Yes. The NSSO offers a free application for the registration.
Do I have to use commercial software?
No. Another system is allowed, but not required.
What must software at least be able to do?
It must register through the NSSO REST web service, so the registration reaches the NSSO. Also check that the NSSO processed each registration correctly.

Book a demo

See check-in and check-out live in a demo.

In a short session we walk through the three steps of the process: checking in and out with one tap in the app, the declaration within the deadline and the follow-up until the response. We then show the portal for managers: planning, registrations per team, reports and audit trail. For cleaning, construction or both — you choose where we put the emphasis.
